At JimJam Arts, we are passionate about theatre and the arts and making them accessible for everyone. We strive to not only entertain our audiences, but inspire and involve them in all our projects.

Between them they have run drama, singing, movement and Forum Theatre workshops for a wide range of community groups including-

• Young Children
• College Students
• Homeless People
• Prisoners
• Mental Health Patients
• Elderly People
• COPD Patients

Last summer we created, organised and performed in three highly successful family events funded by Shepway District Council in Folkestone's prize-winning coastal park, as well as a flash-mob singing event in the town. We have collaborated on original shows at both UCF and the Quarterhouse.

In April 2012, JimJam Arts started a series of Drama Workshops leading to an impromptu performance with audience participation in a local café.  The workshops proved very successful with participants from all walks of life, both with and without experience in drama and with ages ranging from early 20's to 70's.  The performance in Googie's Café was very well received and led to us gaining some new recruits. We have recently been awarded funding by the Creative Foundation to continue  and grow this project. The project will be starting again on 8th February 2013 for more information please see our 'current projects' page.
